Features/Memes

Note: I know this looks like a lot, but my blog isn't just a book blog, and this helps me to maintain that fact. Also, note that most of these only occur once or twice a month anyway.

Every other Monday, I'll share a song/artist/album that I'm either currently listening to or currently obsessed with, though they often go hand-in-hand. I'll try to stick with songs to make it easier. In the post, I'll have a Youtube video of the song, and I'll introduce the song and/or the artist. Some may have special themes or surprises. This means that I might share a playlist, fan!mix, Top Ten list, etc.

Once a month on a Tuesday, I'll showcase a TV in some way, whether it be an episode review (or bundle), a discussion, some thoughts and reactions, Top Tens, a fan!mix, or a recommendation.

This is not my own feature and is instead hosted by Breaking the Spine. This feature allows the blogger to share with readers what they're waiting for (in terms of books)! However, mine will not be limited to books since this isn't just a book blog. I'll participate at random intervals, meaning this will be an irregular feature after 5/28/14.

This is a more irregular feature. Flashback Friday is where I review, or possibly discuss, an old TV show, movie, book, or album. So what's considered old? Anything that was not released within the past year and a half. By years, I mean calendar year (so for this year, June 2013-December 2014 would NOT be old).

These posts are meant to bring about some conversation, discussion, and perhaps even a debate. These discussion posts can occur at varying days of the week, mostly depending upon what's scheduled on the blog and what I feel like discussing.

Hosted by Em @ The YA Book Butterfly (She explains it better than I could, so just click the link if you want an explanation!)

At the end of every month (or the first few days of the next), I will basically sum up the month in whichever way I feel fits the month best. This will be done through a set of lists of some sort, though it'll change monthly depending on the month. These will all include the reviews for that month.

Every other Thursday (probably; this one is the most subject to change) I will make a post that's meant to bring about some conversation, discussion, and perhaps even a debate. This can be about a book, movie, artist/album, or anything!
NOTE: TAIT is now discontinued after 3/27/14 BUT discussion posts will continue to be posted under the name Fiction Friction. Same concept, different name and schedule.

Summary Saturday:
Again, this is pretty self-explanatory, but every Saturday night I will make a master post of everything I posted during the week with links to all of them.
